Sprig & Fern Tahuna

Fish &amp; chips are one of the most popular fast food in New Zealand. This typical fish &amp; chip shop is in the center of Neilson, South Island. The store is not big, buy fresh fried. The taste is the best.

This Boat She&#39;d Cafe, the interior decoration tone, really surprised me, very retro, the most important thing is that there is an old car parked in the store, I heard that the boss&#39;s collection, their coffee taste is also very strong.

Definitely made the right choice of restaurants in Nelson tonight. Went with the family of 7. (4 adults & 3 children) A very warm, friendly welcome from Mark, behind the bar on arrival,  who also informed us of the night’s specials and was most helpful with drink selection. He really set the relaxed tone for the evening out.  The menu was quite extensive and the food we chose was delicious!!  Talitha & Olivia were also very helpful, friendly and customer focused.  Definitely left feeling we’d made a great choice of the many restaurants on offer in Nelson.

After hanging out at the beach, our family and two other families with us decided to head to KFC for a quick feed and get back on the road. After trying to order a twister (haha), they had none so I decided to look for something else nearby. So while the other 10 smashed some fried chicken, I ducked next door to the Spring & Fern and ordered the Pulled BBQ Jackfruit Pizza (takeaway).  It was seriously one of the best pizzas I have EVER had. A spicy twang and perfect combination of the jackfruit, jalapeños and red onion on top. It was so good, I had to jump on here and let everyone know.

Good food, happy staff and live music -  what a fun place on a Saturday night.  Food was delicious and cold beer on tap was excellent  Highly recommended 

Happening place in Nelson

Friendly staff, beautiful setting eating outside, delicious food. Especially the loaded pulled pork wedges. My son never tries veggies but he went back for more and there was beautifully cut veges sprinkled on these. It was a scrummy. They also let us feed a child with our own food.

We had a burger with fries Fries hopeless overcooked  Hamburger was dreadful  Chicken Burger also out of Any taste. Don’t go there
